The upcoming Super Seducer Nintendo Switch release has been unfortunately canceled. Despite initial approvals, Nintendo has rejected the developer’s application to publish the first two games.
Super Seducer 3 has been out for a few weeks now, although it still hasn’t managed to launch on Steam and won’t get a release on that storefront. The developer has suffered a series of frustrating challenges getting the game in customer’s hands, and now it won’t be making its way to the Nintendo Switch, either.
Nintendo Blocks Super Seducer Nintendo Switch Release
The Super Seducer Nintendo Switch release was supposed to cover the first two games, both of which are currently available on Steam and elsewhere. The game was already under review by Nintendo, and Richard La Ruina has since heard some very unfortunate news: Nintendo will not allow the games on their console.
“Super Seducer 1 & 2 won’t be coming to Switch,” read a tweet from Richard La Ruina. “Games fully ported and had been through 1 QA round. We did check initially and N said they’d publish if we got appropriate ratings. I’m not so surprised and do not blame Nintendo – was probably due to Steam & controversy worries.”
That same tweet also features a screenshot of an e-mail he says is from Nintendo.
Dear Richard,
We refer to the games Super Seducer and Super Seducer 2 being registered on NDP under the Gamecode AYZDA and A2DEA (hereinafter the “Games”) which are currently tested by our Lotcheck departments.
While testing the Games we did realize that they contain particularly explicit content. Given this explicit content of the Games we have to inform you, that Nintendo is not able to release the Games on Nintendo Switch.

Adding to the bad news is that RLR Training Inc. has already paid some porting costs for the game. Richard La Ruina is currently mulling over the idea of selling the ROMs as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), a recent trend that involves selling digital data (such as art) at auction with an associated blockchain code that effectively serves as a unique certificate of authenticity.
It’s unclear what exactly will happen with these canceled ports. For now, you can still buy Super Seducer: How to Talk to Girls on Steam and Gamesplanet and the sequel Super Seducer 2 – Advanced Seduction Tactics on Steam and Gamesplanet. As for the latest game, you can buy Super Seducer 3 exclusively on Gamesplanet at the same price.
