Clunky Hero is coming to Steam in Early Access on November 9th and will be supported in 8 languages (English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Traditional Chinese). The game will be available for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Chaosmonger Studio also plans to release the game on Switch, Xbox, PS, which is coming out in Q1 of 2022.
Why Early Access?
This Early Access is pretty advanced, meaning that players can complete the game (even if a shorter version of it) and a lot of things are already in place. However, Chaosmonger studio – the developer – chose to release it as an Early Access to gather feedback from players to enhance elements such as combat, game mechanics, difficulty level, trading economy, skills & abilities,…
The Early Access version will be approximately 30-40% cheaper than the full game, and the developers reserve the right to gradually increase the price getting closer to the full version. The Early Access will come out at a fair price of $8.99.
A word from developers
Nicola Piovesan, the CEO of Chaosmonger Studio said: “I’m very excited for the Early Access of Clunky Hero! The game development is yet to be done, but the gameplay should keep players busy for at least 8 hours of fun, in which they can complete the story, even if a tiny bit shorter than in the full version. We are really looking forward to the players’ feedback and suggestions, since they will help us improve Clunky Hero, to make it bigger and better, in every aspect.”
