Syn Duality is an all-new third-person mecha action game where players take control of an embattled mech pilot in the post-apocalyptic world of Amasia. The kicker? Not only are you competing for resources and upgrades with other creatures and pilots, but you’re also having to avoid the toxic rain that falls from the skies and deal with Magus, a somewhat off-kelter AI partner that would appear to be more than they initially seem.
Though a touch short, the trailer for Syn Duality nevertheless appears to show off a flashy, if rather familiar third-person blaster – though it does look like that some of the other elements that the game packs in, such as the upgradeable mech, crazy AI and so on, could provide some much needed variety when it releases sometime next year.
