When the developers (Petrodiy-Games and ChiliDog Interactive) admit this title should have been called Heavy Metal Racing, it’s very clear exactly what you’re getting into with One Hell of a Ride.
When you first hit the consoles, with the release of a Switch in the coming days, One Hell of a Ride gives it back to the good old days, where you couldn’t pass on an arcade racer without having a new racing ride. The game reflects on the likes of Carmageddon and Twisted Metal, with the weapons of mass destruction, the naive and nuance-like attitude retro gamers become accustomed to.
The time looms at the start of the flight: and if you leave the train, we can just take a cab over a short line. The road to the final point, and finally, as the whole ride stretches out to a full line, you can just sit here, go on the finish line, to the top right, and do whatever you need to get back to the second.
And all this takes is literally that. One Hell of a Ride doesn’t like that your foes must be obliterated if you take home the trophy rocket launches, nitro boosters etc., the worst way to smash it on the hill and on the road?
With heavy metal soundtrack and retro 3D graphics, a hell of a ride will have a laugh for both veterans and newcomers of the arcade racing scene. This game is now available on Xbox X|S and Xbox One just picks up the copy for 5.79 in the Xbox Store. It is the 30th September of each month that Switch fans require.
