The good news comes via a tweet from the Borderlands 3 Twitter account. Tales from the Borderlands and several other games from developer and publisher Telltale Games were delisted from the Microsoft Store back in 2019 following the liquidation of the company.
According to a post over on the Borderlands website, Tales of the Borderlands will be rereleased on Xbox One (with backwards compatibility support for Xbox Series X|S) as an all-in-one package, instead of single episodes. You will not be able to purchase episodes on their own with the rerelease. It also seems that the Xbox 360 version will not be getting relisted. The post notes that if you have a save file from an earlier release, you can pick up from where you left off.
Tales of the Borderlands takes place between the events of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3 and is considered a crucial chapter in Borderlands canon. The story follows two protagonists: Fiona and Rhys. Fiona is a full-time con artist who is looking to sell a fake Vault Key, while Rhys, Atlas Corporation CEO, just so happens to be in the market for a shiny Vault Key. The deal they come up with soon goes awry, with you deciding how the story plays out. Tales from the Borderlands is held in high regard here on TA and holds a 4.25/5 rating from almost 8,000 votes.
The Xbox One version of Tales from the Borderlands will be relisted on the Microsoft Store on February 17th.
