Yusuke Tomizawa, producer on Tales of Arise, has confirmed there’s no plans for story-based DLC for the upcoming JRPG.
Speaking during an online event last week, Tomizawa-san confirmed that there won’t be any story DLC for the game, nor will it receive any prequel or sequel — rather, Tales of Arise will launch as a complete package, as it were.
Previously, the game’s director revealed that Tales of Arise does not currently have a Photo Mode, but didn’t rule out the possibility of it arriving down the line.

Tales of Arise is currently pencilled in for release on September 10, 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. Bandai Namco Games recently introduced two new characters to the game; you can check out Law here and Rinwell here.
