Team Ninja: The release of Nioh on Xbox is still unlikely

According to director Fumihiko Yasuda, a release of Nioh on Xbox 360 is still unlikely.

With The upcoming film “Ollen Dynasty”, a full-blown show is expected on May 20, 2023. After the suspension of Nioh (2017) and Nioh 2/2020, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be coming from the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as Xbox Game Pass.

In an ad-hoc VGC interview on the latest action game and the future plans of Team Ninjas, Fumihiko Yasuda gave no hope for an early release of the two Nioh offshoots for their console, whose design was selected by their players: the two of them and the two of their own players.

It’s not really a thing new about it. There aren’t really a lot of ways to bring Nioh to the Xbox platforms now, but we hope that those fans enjoy Wo Long and expect to release the games. We probably won’t say anything about that today.

Previously, publisher KOEI Tecmo repeatedly told us that there aren’t any plans for an Xbox release for Nioh, but the rule is not a rule. Another study was conducted by Twitter.
