Tekken 7 Update 5.01 Brings Much-Needed Nerfs To Feng, But Akuma Is Still A Problem

Bandai Namco Games has released the Tekken 7 update 5.01 patch notes for you to digest, and there’s good news for those who have been taking a battering at the hands of the overpowered Feng Wei – he’s been nerfed!

Okay, so he’s still an incredibly strong character – his poking still remains top notch and his evasive properties high – but some key moves are more punishable. Furthermore, he can no longer inflict absurd damage at the wall with his shoulder attack after some combos.

Sadly, for reasons that continue to elude us, Bandia Namco still hasn’t made any effort to bring Akuma down a peg or two; the character still remains ridiculously strong in the right hands. Read up on the latest Tekken 7 patch notes below.
