Repentance isn’t a sequel, but for as much as it adds to the game, it might as well be. Two new playable characters, a new story branch and ending, myriad balance and gameplay tweaks, 130+ new items, hundreds of new enemies, thousands of additional rooms, and more have been added to the already enormous indie title. With so many potential variations, fans will be playing this one for a long time.
A $60 physical release on PS5 is coming too, for all you collectors out there. We’ve still a few months to wait until Isaac is ready for his latest excursion, but are you excited? Will you be sinking time into Repentance when it hits PS5 and PS4? Cry bullets in the comments section below.
