The Ubisoft Store has spilled some details on the upcoming The Division Heartland before the publisher quickly pulled the plug. This is the Internet though, and therefore the info has still managed to find its way in the wild.
According to the store page, Heartland is billed as a “free-to-play survival-action multiplayer shooter set in small-town Middle America.” Players can expect “massive PvEvP 45-player battles” where you’ll go up “against a group dangerous Rouge agents, an aggressive faction known as the Vultures, while surviving a lethal virus.”
Complete PVE missions, gather gear, activate alerts, and prep the battlefield in Excursion Operations. Play as one of six agents and select between three classes each match, all with their own perks and skills.

Ubisoft Forward is taking place this Saturday, where there’s a good chance we’ll see more of The Division Heartland during the event. The publisher has already confirmed that we’ll be receiving the first major details on Assassin’s Creed Mirage there, so there’s at least that to out for.
The Division Heartland is scheduled for release later this year on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
