The Elder Scrolls Online has revealed that the next big chapter coming to the MMO, called Firesong, will include fifteen hours of story gameplay along with other additions. Presumably, Firesong will be bringing new weapons, dungeons, characters, and activities to The Elder Scrolls Online, along with a conclusive campaign. The DLC info was announced during the most recent ESO livestream event, which also brought news about a High Isle community activity. Firesong itself will be coming to players in mid-November.
The Firesong DLC in The Elder Scrolls Online will take players to a zone called Galen. It is an island related to the previous High Isle content, and will allow players to earn collectibles and fight dangerous enemies that have yet to be seen in-game.
High Isle added mounts and pets to The Elder Scrolls Online, along with a fresh story and characters, and so it should come as no surprise that Firesong is doing something similar. Though the DLC won’t launch until November, gamers can play the prologue mission of the upcoming chapter for free in the Crown Store. And, thanks to the High Isle in-game event, some players might be eligible to get the next DLC for free.
The event, called Heroes of High Isle, is open to anyone who has purchased the High Isle DLC. It will continue until October 11, and will potentially grant participants the Firesong DLC for free. It works by tracking High Isle Pathfinder achievements. Every time a new player gains the achievement, the community gets closer to earning the DLC free of charge. In one day, the tracker is already at 41%. Gamers will get Firesong once the counter reaches 100%. This would be a huge benefit to players of The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle, and anyone who purchases the DLC now and participates in the Heroes event might be entitled to Firesong.
This activity by the ESO team demonstrates their dedication to players and certainly gives gamers a reason to jump in and play. Of course, the event is only a fraction of the epic quests to come. ESO had been producing relatively high quality additions to the MMO, and there is no reason to think that Firesong will be any different. In fact, as fans eagerly await The Elder Scrolls 6, they can find solace in the reliable content that continues to reach Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls Online.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Firesong launches on November 15 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
