The Fast and Furious video game for Xbox One will be discontinued next month

Fast & Furious Crossroads, a video game based on the Fast and Furious film franchise, will be taken off the market on April 29th, 2020, just two years after its release. “All product sales of Fast & Furious Crossroads will terminate on April 29, 2022 – 4 AM CEST (times may vary by location),” according to a statement posted on the game’s social media outlets and website. “The game and DLCs purchased prior to this date will continue to work, and the game’s online modes will be available.”

No reason has been given for the swift removal of the game from sales though its lack of popularity could well be a factor. Fast and Furious Crossroads got a bit of a meh reaction from players and reviewers after it launched in 2020 and it’s possible that it’s been perceived as something that’s tarnishing the Fast and Furious brand which has been super successful globally.

As the above mentions, anyone who’s purchased Fast and Furious Crossroads and its downloadable content digitally will still be able to download it and play it at any time in the future. The online servers will also remain active for those still playing its multiplayer modes. This applies to the game on Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and Sony’s PS4.
