The Final Alpha release date has been scheduled for this week and will give fans the chance to get their first real taste of the new game.
Embark Studios has stated that while the final experience will be available on PC, Xbox Series X and PS5 in the future, this week’s testing is being done exclusively on Steam.
So if you want a chance to join The Final Alpha this week, you must sign up and prepare for the final launch time.

The Finals Alpha Release Date & Start Time
The Finals Alpha release date and start time have been scheduled for Thursday, September 29, at 5am PDT / 8am EDT.
The new test is open to players in Europe and North America who sign up via the game’s Steam page. The Finals Alpha will not allow for any streaming or gameplay capture during it, with testing scheduled to end on October 3.
Core features and gameplay elements will be put through their paces while the Alpha is on live servers and will be limited in scope regarding player numbers.
Embark Studios released this statement ahead of the Alpha release date, confirming to fans: “We can’t wait to see the kind of explosive action you’re going to unleash. We’re going to learn so much, and you’re going to wreck everything in sight.
“Of course, that might include our servers, so it’s probably a good idea to remind you, superstars, that this is an EARLY BUILD with lots of experimental mechanics and systems.
“On that note, we’re not allowing streams or captures for this test. Things are actively being developed and will 100% change between now and release, so besides a deluge of destruction, expect bugs, balance issues, and more first-look weirdness as we find out what works… and what doesn’t.”
When it does arrive in its full form, The Finals will be a free-to-play combat game show, challenging players to enter arenas based on real-world locations that they can alter, exploit, and even destroy.
