Doom Eternal’s current gen upgrade brings three graphics options for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, with Performance targeting 120fps, Balanced shooting for 4K at 60fps, and Ray Tracing mode adding new lighting and dropping the resolution just a smidgeon to retain 60fps. How to upgrade Doom Eternal from PS4 to PS5 Doom Eternal now supports ray tracing and 120fps graphics modes on consoles It’s worth noting that all modes feature dynamic resolution scaling, but these are the maximum resolutions that each mode targets. Additionally, you will need a 120Hz compatible TV or monitor in order to run at that frame rate. On Xbox Series X|S, you will also have support for VRR, just in case there are any frame rate dips.
