Lords of the Fallen 2, first confirmed to be in development for PS4 all the way back in 2018, is now called The Lords of the Fallen, dropping the 2 and adding a ‘The’. Oh, and it’s coming to PS5…maybe next year? The new trailer doesn’t say, but this thing’s been in development for ages now.
The first Lords of the Fallen — without the The — was one of the first notable ‘Soulslikes’ to grace PlayStation consoles, but it was only met with a lukewarm reception in 2014. We’re hoping that this sequel can step things up, but we’re yet to properly see it in action. The above video is mostly a mood-setter, with no sign of any gameplay.
