The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition has appeared on the Taiwan Entertainment Rating Software Information website, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC listed as platforms. The rating was first spotted by VGC, with Take-Two listed as the game’s publisher.
The Outer Worlds originally released in October 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It was followed by a Nintendo Switch port and two expansions – Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos. It seems likely that the yet-to-be-announced Spacer’s Choice Edition will be a port released on current-gen platforms ahead of the sequel – possibly including the DLCs.
The Outer Worlds 2 was announced for Xbox Series X|S and PC in June 2021 – developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Microsoft – revealed at the time with a self-aware trailer implying the game was nowhere near ready.
