The sci-fi game The Outer Worlds by Obsidian Entertainment was released in 2019 for PC and the old generation of consoles, and now a complete overhaul seems to be taking over.
The game “Outer Worlds” by Obsidian still has some fun. For the tense eyes of those who learned about the game, a new version of the play playbook called Spacers Choice Edition appeared on the Taiwanese evaluation board. According to the information there, the entry refers to a version for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S that currently only available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and later for Switch.
It could be a next-gen version, which will certainly include the two expansions Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos.
A complete edition for the new generation of consoles sounds quite likely, especially since the first one announced last year the sequel to The Outer Worlds for PC and Xbox X/S. The announcement of Spacers Choice Edition won’t be long in time.
Obsidian Entertainment is pretty busy. Grounded has just been released after two years of Early Access. The studio has at least three larger projects in the works with The Outer Worlds two, Pentiment and Avowed.
