LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is set to release on April 5, 2022. The highly anticipated title from TT Games will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, along with all the other major gaming platforms.
But Xbox has something those others don’t — Xbox Game Pass, which sometimes sees titles added to the subscription service the day they launch. MLB The Show 22, for instance, is one of those games that will be free on day one through Xbox Game Pass.
With LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga arriving next month, you might be wondering of it will also be available to play for free with an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
Will LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga be free on Xbox Game Pass at launch?
Unfortunately, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will not be a free Xbox Game Pass title at launch. And so far, neither TT Games nor WB Games have announced any plans to eventually add the game to the service.
That being said, previous LEGO games from TT Games have eventually found their way to Xbox Game Pass. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, for example, was added to Xbox Game Pass on June 1, 2018. The caveat was that its arrival was over a decade after it originally released.
LEGO Star Wars III came to Xbox Game Pass in October 2019, nearly 11 years after it launched. So sometimes you might just have to wait a really long time.
As of right now, though, there are not LEGO titles on Xbox Game Pass, which is a bit unfortunate because playing some of these older LEGO Star Wars games could definitely get people in the mood and hyped for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Xbox Game Pass also seems like such a great fit for these games as they offer incredible replay value and they are just a plain ol’ good time.
