It’s like the third time in September (pic: Sony)
Sony finally announced a new state of play event, that will feature PS4, PS5 and PSVR2, but it’sn’t anybody know which games.
Most previews look like buses, because after months of silence, we have not only a Nintendo one today, but also the latest PlayStation State of Play, which will talk about PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2.
There will be 10 games in total, in an event lasting around 20 minutes, but without guarantees that there will be no first-party titles.
The only clue Sony has given over what the games are, which has the promise that Japanese developers will update some great developments, that is likely to be the result of the Tokyo Game Show being this week. It would be interesting to see how Final Fantasy 16 would be, if Square Enix said that it wasn’t at the show.
The livestream isn’t only going to feature Japanese games but Sony said that there are some other surprises from developers around the world.
What that can mean, it seems to hint at new announcements and not just updates on already announced titles.
At what time is the PlayStation game?
The State of Play will start at 11 o’clock on Wednesday, December 11, 2008 in the USA, with a reopening schedule of 3 and 6 o’clock on the other side of the road.
It’s probably too late because the Nintendo Direct is scheduled for three PM BST. You might ask yourself why Sony could not just do it a different day, but maybe it would be interesting to think about these older questions. Of course, publishers are so horrible at choosing release dates that don’t conflict with each other like these one another.
