Microids announced that the console versions of the Xbox and PlayStation 3 series of the World Before are going to go gold.
The adventure game will take place on current-gen platforms on the 15th of November. The release is going to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the franchise. As a rule, an anniversary edition isn’t simple, but it’ll go on sale with a cardboard sleeve and a media book.
Similarly, die-hard fans can get a Collectors Edition: a figurine of the main characters Kate and Dana, a artbook, a steelbook, a music box, a lithograph, a keychain, a set of postcards, a Wagen map, a digital prologue script, and a digital soundtrack.
Ports for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch are already in development, but they’re being delayed and won’t arrive until 2023.
On PC, the new part of Syberia was released back in March, and received praise from both the press (81 points on Metacritic), and the ordinary players (92 p.m. The World Before became the farewell project of Benoit Sokals unfortunately. The creator of the show was deceased in May last year at 66 years old. The game was successful without him.
