TI11 enters the warteland, with Tundra Esports, Team Secret putting on a show at TI11

The first team to qualify for The International 2022s Main Event was relatively calm in Group B. There is still an easy challenge for those who are a top seed and whatever else below could change drastically depending on the final day.

At TI11, Tundra Esports subsequently became one of Europe’s best Dota 2 teams. Now, they were determined to have a robust start at TI11. But with the team a little more time, they tried to get the job done, and to find a window to shine on one of the world’s best teams.

After winning many big victories yesterday, the defending champions beat the TI today.

Team Spirit reached the third day and tried to make it clear their own slow start. However, Tundra wasn’t the easy prey that the TI10 winners might’ve been expecting.

Despite the enormous leads, the spirit in Tundra shut down both matches but dragged both of them past 30 minutes. Finally, Spirits didn’t have any damage to stop Tundras unstoppable stampede.

Tundra and Thunder Awaken both played in the battle for top seeding at TI 11 while one player had complained about hospitalization. Farith Matthew Puente started a lot of tests before day three even started due to a stomach infection but eventually returned to play.

Tundra were not the only group to better their seeding, either. Team Secret continued on a strong group stage run on day three with a strong draw against Spirit before entering the highly anticipated clash against Entity.

In the past year of the DPC season, Entity had the Secrets number repeatedly, snatching a Major spot from Puppeys, a final of their promotion and eliminating them from the regional qualifiers for the WEU. With both teams’ power levels in mind, most fans expected a series. But Secret were on another level and looked for revenge for their previous losses.

Crystallis and Zayac were out of control in the first game, scoring 22 kills of thirty secrets. Secret kept an eye on the map, and forced them to put their backs on a wall that was their ancient wall. Without hope, Entity failed to score game-swinging killings on Secrets cores and was hit at the 31st minute mark.

Entity completed the second match with a somewhat similar draft, which made their humiliation even more disappointing. Crystallis gave Lifestealer a brilliant performance to the fans. The position one player has had 10 kills to his name and Secret outpaced one of the fastest teams in the game.

With this sweep in the bag, Secret aims to win both team Aster and TA, who had a poor day three appearance against Fnatic and TA, and Tundra for the top seed of the Group Bs heading into the fourth and final day of the groups. In addition, Spirit and beastcoast will have two rivals – one that could bring one off off TI11 and dangerously close to elimination from Spirit and Beastcoast.
