If you’re a keen reader of Pure Xbox, you may also be aware that Nintendo Life and Push Square operate under the same Hookshot Media banner. Well, we’ve now got a fourth outlet to add to that list in the form of Time Extension!
The goal behind Time Extension is to focus on all things retro — here’s how editor Damien McFerran describes it:
“While other sites out there are constantly looking to the future and the promise of the “next big thing”, Time Extension intends to do the exact opposite – it will look back into the past to uncover hidden gems, proclaim stone-cold classics and shed a light on the human stories behind some of the world’s favourite games, companies and systems.
Rather than relegate retro and classic gaming news to a footnote as so many other sites do, Time Extension aims to elevate stories to the next level by talking to the people behind the news – be they developers or fans – and providing the definitive perspective on events in the sphere of classic gaming.”
Of course, we’ll still continue to discuss the original Xbox and Xbox 360 eras here at Pure Xbox as well, but Time Extension will also feature some unique content that Xbox fans will definitely be interested in – such as a recent feature about “The Making Of Split/Second” including interviews with the team behind the classic Xbox 360 racer.
You can go and say “hello” over at the official Time Extension website, and your Pure Xbox login will work there too!
On behalf of the Hookshot Media team, we hope you enjoy the new website!
