WARREN — A 26-year-old Lancer Court resident’s apartment was burglarized Saturday evening.
Taken were two television sets, a laptop computer, a digital camera, an xBox 360 with 20 games, a Chromecast, and prescription drugs, the report states.
Police went to 3024 Lancer Court NW for a report of someone breaking into the rear window of 3026 Lancer. Officers found that someone had broken into the home, but nothing appeared to be missing. They secured the rear door, but they could not reach the resident.
Several hours later, the apartment’s resident called police saying that several items were missing, and she believes the original caller is the suspect in the burglary.
Officers contacted the original caller, asking if the apartment where he claimed to be staying could be searched. The caller told police he accidentally locked himself out when they arrived and could not get back in.
Because he is not a tenant of Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority, the original caller was required to leave the property.
No arrests have been made, according to the police report.
