The Tropico series has long been one that has delighted many a player, with multiple editions building out the franchise. The most recent of those, Tropico 6, has now gone next-gen with a brand new edition of the game combining the standard base game, a ton of downloadable content and some next-gen goodies, as one.
Available today on Xbox Series X|S and PS5, Tropico 6 – Next Gen Edition will give you that stunning 4K island feeling as you get access to crystal clear 4K visuals which will make the islands of Tropico 6 pop like never before.
Alone, that may not be enough to sell a trip back to the good isle of Tropico 6, but the Next Gen Edition also throws in a host of DLC pieces alongside the newly improved base game. You’ll get access to the Llama of Wall Streets content, as well as the El Prez Pack which itself deals with another mission, more buildings and a load of decorative options for your palace. Further, you can purchase the DLC additions as individual entities too if you like. El Prez Pack will cost you £1.69, whilst The Llama of Wall Street is £8.39. Each comes with a 10% discount if you’re in the Game Pass gang.
There’s more too, namely in the form of the Next Gen Edition only Caribbean Skies download for £12.49, Spitter for £8.39 and Lobbyistico for the same price. Rounding things out is Festival for £12.49. If you get taken in by Tropico 6, it may well be worth considering some of these add-ons.
The Next-Gen Edition also plays host to up to four players via multiplayer, features a revised research system, new transport options, and the opportunity to manage multiple islands at once.
