The remasters of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil will reportedly be hitting the PS4 on February 25, according to the UK PlayStation Network App (via Reddit).
Both games were originally released for the Nintendo 64 in the late 1990s, and were remastered by Nightdive Studios for the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch a few years ago. Iguana Entertainment were responsible for developing the N64 versions of the titles.
The Turok and Turok 2 remasters include spruced up visuals, enhanced AI, a quick-warp ability to previously visited portals, and a new multiplayer mode called Last Turok Standing — the latter was omitted from the Switch version of the games, however.
Turok is based on the Acclaim Comics of the same name, with players controlling the eponymous Native American warrior who sets out to stop the nefarious Campaigner from taking over the universe using an ancient and powerful weapon. All you need to know is that you’ll be killing a shed load of dinosaurs in the process.
