Ubisoft Shuttering Servers For Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas, Future Soldier This Year

Ubisoft has announced that it will be closing servers down for a number of classic Tom Clancy titles in 2021, including Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. This applies to the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 versions of the games.

The Masterlist for the server closures does not list a concrete date, simply stating that they will be shuttered in 2021. It has been rumored that they will close at some point between June and September, but this hasn’t been confirmed.

Still, it’s probably best to get some in on the games while you can just to be safe, eh? All games featured Trophies that are only obtainable online, so one the servers shut, they won’t be up for grabs anymore.

The fact Ubisoft is closing these servers is nothing new, as a lot of gaming companies shut up servers are years of activity.
