Ubisoft swoops on ZombiU, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Rayman Legends and more old games today

Ubisoft are ending support for more than a dozen of its old games in the same way.

Initially, the closure of the server was scheduled to begin in September, but was postponed for a month. The company won’t postpone the outage again, so now has an end of their relationship with the networks in the following projects. In parentheses are the games for the platforms affected by the change.

You can see that the list mostly contains games of the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 generation. If a particular project was re-released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the shutdown will be very limited to the original versions of these titles, as a typical scenario, for example Assassins Creed II, Assassins Creed III, Far Cry 3.
