Stay tuned for this week’s Ubisoft Forward broadcast
Assassin’s Creed fans could be in for a treat later this week, with the French company expected to announce “several new games” in the franchise.
The reveal is expected to take place at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event on Saturday. It’s already teased how it will share a “peek at the future of the franchise”. According to Bloomberg and the original source Try Hard, there’ll be a mobile game and two major games showcased.
The first “major” game is supposedly developed by Ubisoft’s Quebec City Office, and is set in Japan. THe second one is apparently being handled by the Montreal Office and is set around the latter stages of the Holy Roman Empire and would focus on the witch trials.
The recently announced game Mirage will also be on show. It’s expected to be set in Baghdad during the 800s based on some widespread leaks. This game will also return its focus to stealth, as seen in some of the earlier games.
