PHILADELPHIA — North Carolina is one win away from the 2022 Final Four. After defeating UCLA 73-66 on Friday night, the Tar Heels will take on NCAA Tournament Sweetheart Saint Peter’s on Sunday at 5:05 pm (CBS) in the Elite 8.
For Carolina, it’s been a different hero in every game to get to this point. Brady Manek scored 28 points in the first-round blowout of Marquette. R.J. Davis had 30 points in the wild overtime win over Butler. And on Friday it was Caleb Love who dropped 30 points, 27 in the second half, to push the Tar Heels past UCLA.
On Saturday, all five starters and head coach Hubert Davis took questions from reporters for 20 minutes in the depth of the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
