It is only a matter of time before PC player demand to sees Kratos and Atreus hit their screens
God of War Ragnarok pre orders are now live, and the Jotnar edition is already being scalped.
It is hard to ignore the question ‘when will God of War Ragnarok come to the PC platform‘, and that is down to one thing and one thing alone – it is one of the world’s most highly-anticipated games of all time.
There is nothing to suggest that Kratos and Atreus’ next adventure will hit PC players’ screens but the follow-up to one of the PS4’s most popular titles would be a smash hit, no matter the platform.
God of War Ragnarok is finally being released on November 9th, 2022, and fans looking to play on PlayStation can pre-order God of War from July 15th.

God of War Ragnarok PC release date prediction
Based on the original title – God of War, it is hard to see the God of War Ragnarok PC release date being any time soon.
God of War was initially released back in 2018 for PlayStation and came to PC in January this year (2022).
This doesn’t necessarily mean fans will have to wait another four years but the release date for PC all depends on the exclusivity with PlayStation.
We have to base our release date prediction on the initial game launch dates for now, so we would estimate the God of War Ragnarok PC release date could be as late as 2026!
Has the God of War Ragnarok release date reveal brought the devs harassment?
The Washinton Post has revealed several disturbing occurrences after the June 30th reveal turned out to be an incorrect date.
“Fans began harassing Santa Monica Developers including cinematics producer Estelle Tigani and writer Alanah Pearce.”
The norse saga will hopefully come to PC soon
Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. The threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer. Kratos and Atreus must choose between their own safety and the safety of the realms

Will God of War Ragnarok come to PC?
Seeing as the original received ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ reviews on Steam, it would be a no-brainer to introduce it to PC.
According to SteamCharts, back in January when God of War came to PC, the game hit a peak player count of just under 74,000, and average players hit just over 34,000.
Elsewhere, a retailer has seemingly leaked details on God of War Ragnarok‘s alleged performance and resolution modes, as reported in Gamesradar.
UK retailer ShopTo sent an email to customers today ahead of Ragnarok’s pre-orders going live confirming the game would target 4K at 30 FPS and dynamic resolution 4k at 60FPS on PS5.
Sony is yet to confirm the features, so please take this with a pinch of salt until they do!
Would God of War Ragnarok come to Steam?
The previous God of War eventually ended up on Steam, so it is likely that if Ragnarok comes to PC, it will feature on Steam.
The initial God of War PC port was exceptional
Everything from GPU performance to the included graphical options was really well done by developers.
This meant those on the PC platform got to experience God of War in an unparalleled light.
Sony really did very well, and when you consider that this was a PS4 game, the experience that everyone got on PC was superb. Please bring Ragnarok to PC!
God of War Ragnarok PC price prediction
Using the original God of War price and Sonys pricing for The Horizon Forbidden West can give us a rough idea of how much Ragnarok may cost.
The God of War Ragnarok Standard Edition price should be between $60-70, with it being slightly cheaper on the older-gen PS4.
The God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition price could be as much as $200.
The God of War Ragnarok Jotnar Edition price might exceed $200, with it possibly being the most premium option.
