Valorant, League of Legends and More Offering Free Rewards for Enabling 2FA

Riot Games launched two-factor authentication (2FA) earlier this year to help players secure their accounts. The publisher revealed that over 5 million players have enabled the feature on their account but most players have not enabled 2FA on their accounts just yet. To incentivize enabling the feature, Riot Games is offering free cosmetics to all League of Legends, Valorant, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics players.

Here are all the 2FA sign-up rewards for Riot Games titles

Here are all of the rewards available for players who enable 2FA on their accounts.

  1. League of Legends: Taliyah ‘Very Cool’ emote

  2. VALORANT: ‘Keep it Safer’ Gun Buddy

  3. Legends of Runeterra: Rare Prismatic Chest

  4. Teamfight Tactics: Little Legend Egg

If you already have 2FA enabled on your account you are automatically eligible to receive the rewards. Every time you attempt to sign in, you’ll receive an email containing a unique six-digit code. You can stay signed in for up to 30 days so you don’t need to enter the code every single time you login to your game.

If you want to enable 2FA:

  1. Sign in to your .

  2. Locate the Two-Factor Authentication card.

  3. On this card, you’ll find an Enable or Resend button. Click the button. This sends you an email to enable Two-Factor Authentication.

  4. Go to the inbox of your connected email address.

  5. Find and open the Two-Factor Authentication email you received from Riot Games.

  6. From the email, click the Enable Two-Factor Authentication button.

If you want to remove 2FA for any particular reason you can do so via the following steps:

  1. Sign in to your .

  2. Locate the Two-Factor Authentication card.

  3. Click the Disable button.

  4. Review the pop-up, and click Disable if you’re sure.

It is recommended to leave 2FA enabled as it adds an extra layer of security to your account.
