Riot Games is releasing a new patch today (5th October) that seeks to improve the team play potential of heroes while bringing down their solo carry potential. These changes were previously shown off in the Public Beta Environment (PBE) and it is finally time for them to be added to the game.
The update also adds the new Valorant Crimsonbeast Bundle which will go live for a couple of weeks and it brings with it a host of weapon skins as well as the Hammer Melee skin. Here’s everything you need to know about Valorant patch 5.07.
Valorant Update 5.07 balance changes
Flashes are getting some tweaks in the new updates and Riot Games wants to separate the utility that Initiator flashes offer compared to Duelist abilities.
Skye
Skye is getting some buffs with the most notable ones being for her Guiding Light ability.
Guiding Light (E)

Guiding Light flashbang scaling paradigm changed. The max flash duration of Skye’s Guiding Light now scales from 1s to 2.25s over a .75s charge up after being cast

Guiding Light can no longer be shot and destroyed

New VFX, UI, and sounds added to communicate new gameplay intent

Unequip Delay out of Guiding Light increased .75s >>> .85s
KAY/0
KAY/0 is getting changes only to his Q (FLASH/DRIVE) ability.

Underhand (right-click) flashbang max duration decreased 2s>>>1.25s

Overhand (left-click) flashbang max duration increased 2s>>>2.25s

Unequip Delay out of both flashes increased .6s >>> .85s
Reyna
Reyna’s Seer is getting some tweaks for Eer.

Yoru
Finally, Yoru’s Blindside is getting some tweaks.
BLINDSIDE (Q)

Blindside duration increased 1.5s >>> 1.75s

Reduced the size of the hologram on the body marker that shows up when dead bodies are turned off.
In addition to these changes, the Collection is getting a filter and players can also mark their favorite items.
New Crimsonbeast Bundle
Valorant’s new Crimsonbeast Bundle introduces a host of new skins for the following weapons:

Martial
The bundle also has a Hammer Melee skin and other cosmetics. The bundle is in the Premier category which means that you will need to spend 1,775 Valorant Points (VP), which is around $23 USD for each of the weapon skins. Alternatively, you could buy out the entire bundle for 7,100 VP or $82 USD.
