Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.
The gaming bundle space got introduced to Humble’s latest Stellaris Discovery collection this week, which brings the base game of the popular Paradox-developed strategy game as well as a number of major expansions and DLC that deepen it.
With the first tier arrives just one item, that being the Stellaris base game that can be yours for $1. Hopping up to the second tier will currently set you back around $10, and get you copies of Utopia and Leviathans expansions as well as the Planetoids Species Pack.
The final tier will set you back $15 to pick up, but it comes with further popular add-on content including Synthetic Dawn, Apocalypse, and MegaCorp expansions alongside the Ancient Relics Story Pack.
It is also a strategy game that’s being given away this week on the Epic Games Store, albeit a returning one. The Paradox-published Surviving Mars is back as a freebie, replacing Wargame: Red Dragon.
The strategy city builder experience has players setting up a colony on the Red Planet, which is first sustained by resource shipments from Earth, but as time goes on, becoming sustainable through farming and mining is a necessity. Its story also has players uncovering mysteries on Mars that include contact with aliens, plagues, and AI revolts, among others. Surviving Mars will remain free to claim on the Epic Games Store through March 18, and next up on the freebie schedule is The Fall.
This is not the only freebie you can grab right now, as 4A Games has begun a giveaway for the original Metro 2033 as part of its 10-year of Metro celebrations. This non-Redux edition doesn’t have the upgraded graphics and streamlined elements, but the highly-lauded atmospheric storyline set in the Moscow Metro following a nuclear war remains the same.
This is a weekend promotion that is giving you until March 15 to grab a free copy on Steam. If you want the Redux edition, the developer has it – and its sequel Metro Last Light – available with an 80% discount during the promotion as well.
