The Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Limited Edition console is moving fast. Microsoft’s first wave of pre-orders is now out of stock, having sold out across all retailers. But, will there be a second pre-order wave? If so, when is the Xbox Series X Halo Edition restock date? Here’s the latest on securing an XSX Halo Infinite Edition console while avoiding scalpers.
What is the Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Edition restock date?
Several retailers are taking pre-orders for the Xbox Series X Halo Edition console, though all of them have sold through their pre-order allocation. Microsoft is yet to confirm an Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Edition restock for pre-orders, or if there will be a second wave of stock on the November 15 launch day.
If there is another Xbox Series X Halo Edition stock allocation, here’s where to buy the console:
Interestingly, Walmart’s Xbox Series X Halo Infinite Edition item page is now inaccessible and presents the “Oops! This item is unavailable or on backorder.” error message. Best Buy, meanwhile, lists the product as “Coming Soon” in place of “Sold Out” like it does the standard Xbox Series X console.
Although it’s unfortunate, there is a chance that there won’t be an XSX Halo Edition restock as the console is limited by design. While “Limited Edition” items within gaming are often anything but, special edition consoles always prove popular. Since the hardware in question is also a highly scarce ninth generation console, that may apply even more so in this instance.

In other news, the Overwatch 2 launch date could be less than a year away. Far Cry 6 is arriving much sooner — like, next month — so find out how it plays in this hands-on preview.
