Riders Republic was launched on October 28, 2021, for Xbox One and PC, while no official Game Pass release date has been announced as of this writing. That isn’t to say that Riders Republic won’t be available on Game Pass in the future. Due to the existence of Ubisoft Plus, the publisher’s own subscription service that includes its library of games, Ubisoft withholds most of its games from Game Pass. However, as games like For Honor have previously been released on Game Pass, Riders Republic may be included to the service as well.
We’ll have to wait and see if Riders Republic is on the same path, or even if it will eventually be free-to-play. In the meantime, players can pick it up as a full-price game.
But that’s all speculation right now, as Riders Republic has not been confirmed for Game Pass. Given that the game has only just been released, it’s unlikely it’ll make its way to the service any time soon — typically, publishers wait to receive the most amount of sales on a game as possible, before Game Pass provides it with a new lease on life as public interest is declining. The most recent evidence of this is Marvel’s Avengers, which Square Enix released on Game Pass to jolt its player base back into life.
In other news, the Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen patch was delayed into 2022 by CD Projekt Red. The Nintendo Switch Online Nintendo 64 expansion pack was also released — and has received poor reviews.
