Wii U Receives Its First System Update Of 2022, Here’s What’s Included

Nintendo has released a new system update for the Wii U, while the patch notes suggest enhancements to the “overall system stability” and various other minor adjustments.

Anyway, here’s what’s apparently included in the Version 5.5.6 U Update. This applies to both the Wii U Deluxe and Basic models:

Ver. 5.5.6 U (August 29th, 2022)

• Improvements to system stability and usability
  • Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.

In case you missed it, yesterday marked the shutdown of prepaid cards on the on the Wii U eShop. This also applies to the 3DS as well.
