Worthplaying | ‘Do Not Open’ Gets PS5 And PC Release Date, PSVR2 And PS4 To Follow In 2023

Its story evolves within the confines of a room that will bring the player’s mental and physical condition to the limit.

Michael J. Goreng, the main character, is a well-known zoologist and epidemiologist trapped in his own house where his wife and daughter are held against their will. The house is locked up and it keeps changing as the game progresses, in an analogy of what is happening within the character’s own head. Goreng will have to solve different puzzles to escape from a mysterious threat while dealing with paranormal activity.

Do Not Open is a non-linear game, and players will get different endings depending on their decisions, as well as the results of the tests they overcome through the game. Quasar Dynamics promises high replayability: in every new game players will have to solve different riddles and events won’t happen exactly as before. This feature will allow players to unlock different endings in order to discover the mystery that surrounds the house.

Developer Nox Noctis announced that the PS5 and PC versions of Do Not Open will release digitally on 15th November.

There will also be a Physical Edition, which will be released on 25th November across Europe, with the USA physical release coming early 2023.

The PS4 version of  will be released early 2023.  To develop the best possible VR experience of Do Not Open, Nox Noctis has also announced they have removed the VR element from the PS4 version and are focusing resources on a definitive VR version for the up and coming PlayStationVR2 platform.
