Xbox Game Pass has added five new games, while also confirming four more that are coming in the future. Microsoft has had an impressive presence at the Tokyo Game Show 2022 event, making some big announcements, particularly when it comes to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
Originally, the new Xbox Game Pass games for September 15 were only going to consist of a couple of titles, but Microsoft has surprise-launched a few more as part of its Tokyo Game Show festivities. Starting today, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can try Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Danganronpa V3 Anniversary Edition, FUGA: Melodies of Steel, Metal: Hellsinger, and Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered. Despot’s Game was originally planned to join the Game Pass lineup today as well, but it has been pushed back to September 20.

- Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered (Cloud/Console/PC)
All the new Xbox Game Pass games added on September 15 are available to play across all modern Xbox consoles, cloud, and PC, with one exception. Rhythm FPS game Metal: Hellsinger is only available to play on Xbox Series X, so Game Pass subscribers should keep that in mind.

The new Xbox Game Pass games added today should keep subscribers plenty busy. In the meantime, Microsoft used its Tokyo Game Show presence to confirm even more games coming to its subscription service down the line, spotlighting four games in particular. Deathloop is coming to Xbox Game Pass on September 20, while Dyson Sphere Program is being added on October 13. Fighting games Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle and Guilty Gear Strive are coming Spring 2023.

The Tokyo Game Show Game Pass announcements have made September 15 one to celebrate for Game Pass subscribers, but today is also notable for the games that are leaving the lineup. Today is the last day that Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play 11 games that are currently available on the service, with A Plague Tale: Innocence, Aragami 2, Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling, Craftopia, Final Fantasy 13, Flynn: Son of Crimson, I Am Fish, Lost Words: Beyond the Page, Mighty Goose, SkateBird, and The Artful Escape all being removed.
