Microsoft has revealed that June 2021’s Xbox Games with Gold are Injustice: Gods Among Us, The King’s Bird, Shadows: Awakening, and NeoGeo Battle Coliseum.
As detailed on Xbox Wire, all Xbox Live Gold members and those subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be able to download these games beginning on June 1.
The King’s Bird was originally released in 2018 and will be available from June 1-30. It is an award-winning artistic title that sends players on a seamless platform adventure with physics-based movement.
NeoGeo Battle Coliseum will be available from June 1-15 and was released on Xbox 360 and PS2 in 2007. In our review, we said, “Although NeoGeo Battle Coliseum has plenty of characters, tag team attacks and a fair amount of potential for strategy against another player, its poor visuals, lack of polish and general stiffness make it a much less appetizing entry in the fighting game genre.”
Injustice: Gods Among Us will be available from June 16-30 and brings Xbox 360’s 2013 fighting game featuring some of the most iconic DC heroes and villains to the forefront. In our review, we said, “NetherRealm’s follow-up to Mortal Kombat is both a very good brawler and a big old sloppy love letter to fans.
Lastly, Shadows: Awakening will be available from June 16 to July 15 and it brings an action RPG with real-time tactical combat to June’s Xbox Games with Gold lineup. Players will take control of a demon summoned from the Shadow Realm to consume the souls of long dead heroes.
While there is still a bit of time until these games become available, there is still time to download some of May 2021’s Xbox Games with Gold, including Armello, Tropico 4, and Dungeons 3.
