Xbox has Discord Voicemail After Latest Update

Xbox owners now have a new way to chat to their friends on PC as Microsoft announced that Xbox One and Xbox X/S consoles support Discord Voice chat for everyone. The feature was already available for Xbox members. However, starting today, anyone who links their Xbox and Discord accounts can chat to friends on Discord via voice calls directly from the console.

Designed by a new blog post and published on the official Xbox website, users can also see who in the call plays on their Xbox, adjust the volume of the call, and switch between Xbox and Discord chat easily. If you want to access this feature, you should turn off the Discord mobile app and get your account together, even if you’ve done that before. Xbox then thanks all the insiders who helped test the feature out and feedback.

If you’re now a PS5 user, the reason is that Xbox’s new feature will be that it’s very interesting. It’ll be interesting to know that Discord Voice chat, reportedly coming to PS5 as well. According to the insider in a report recently published that full Discord will be added in next month’s study. We’ve heard nothing from Sony and PlayStation yet, but you could imagine that Discord on PlayStation won’t go far behind Xbox.

Xbox owners will also be pleased to know that Discord Voice isn’t the only one dependable feature, which will be included in the future. Xbox recently announced plans for completely revamping its dashboard. Insiders will participate in an “multi-month series of experiments”, which Microsoft hopes will make navigating through and personalizing your home screen much easier.
