Xbox Series X Restock Update for Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, GameStop and More

With restocks of the standard Xbox Series X being few and far between, your best bet for procuring Microsoft’s next-gen hardware is to try and get one of the limited-edition Halo Infinite consoles.

Unfortunately, these units are also in high demand at the moment. It has even been reported that scalpers are trading it on eBay for inflated prices of well over $1,000. Still, there is a chance that you might be able to get your hands on one if you look in the right places.

Below is the latest restock information for the Xbox Series X and Series S.

Best Buy Xbox Series X Restock

While most other retailers have sold out of the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X, Best Buy has yet to even release its batch.

The product page currently says “coming soon” and it is expected that pre-orders will go live any day now. After all, Best Buy is already lagging behind as everywhere else sold their units almost immediately after the console was announced.

The specially designed console will cost $549.99 and will ship with a copy of Halo Infinite itself and a matching controller.

In the meantime, you can purchase the cheaper Xbox Series S from Best Buy, in a number of reasonably priced bundles.

Walmart Xbox Series X Restock

In an extremely rare move, Walmart restocked on the Xbox Series X twice last week, with the drops even taking place on consecutive days. The first restock occurred on Wednesday, August 25 and the second one took place the following evening.

This was definitely an outlier for Walmart, as the outlet normally adheres to an established pattern of restocking every other Thursday, at 3 p.m. ET.

Although it is unlikely that they will coordinate another drop this week, it might be worth keeping an eye on their website around September 2 just in case.

Microsoft Store Xbox Series X Restock

Shortly after we published our last update, Microsoft’s official storefront released new Xbox Series X units.

The console was briefly available for its recommended manufacture’s price of $499, but very quickly sold out. The Halo Infinite edition is also out of stock.

On the bright side, you can still try registering for the “Console Purchase” scheme for a chance at getting an Xbox Series X directly from the source. More in-depth instructions on how to do this can be found here.

Amazon Xbox Series X Restock

While Amazon did restock on PS5s lately, customers are still waiting for the Xbox Series X to be released. This is long overdue now, as the online marketplace has not been selling Microsoft’s console since all the way back in June.

GameStop Xbox Series X Restock

Pre-orders for the Halo Infinite edition of the Xbox were released on August 31 at GameStop.

These units were quickly snapped up and there is no word on when the standard edition Xbox Series X will next be available from the retailer.

Target Xbox Series X Restock

Target no longer schedules nationwide drops and is instead allowing individual outlets to coordinate their own restocks. This makes it nearly impossible to predict when the console will be available in the U.S. without checking the inventory levels for every single region.

You can, at least, go on the Target website and search for Xbox Series X units at nearby locations using the ZIP code search field. We would recommend that you do this first thing in the morning, as that is when stores will typically update their pages.

Antonline Xbox Series X Restock

As reported in our previous update, you can order the Xbox Series S from Antonline.

The console is currently available in two bundles, each priced at $364.98 and coming with a uniquely patterned controller. There was previously a third option you could choose from (with a red controller) as well, but this has now sold out, indicating that these supplies are slowly being depleted.

Newegg Xbox Series X Restock

An Xbox Series X bundle was featured in Tuesday’s Newegg shuffle, but this lottery has now closed.

To be alerted when the next one of these draws opens, follow dedicated console trackers like @XboxStockAlerts, @GYXdeals or @mattswider on Twitter.

Sam’s Club Xbox Series X Restock

All Xbox consoles are out of stock at Sam’s Club.

However, the merchant does frequently update its Xbox Series S inventory, so if you are in the market for that less powerful console it is still worth keeping an eye on their website.
