The second version of the wildly popular Xbox Mini Fridge has been unveiled today by Xbox’s VP of Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg, serving as a smaller edition of the original design at a slightly reduced cost.
It’s called the “Mini-Me Xbox Series X Mini Fridge”, with the ability to store 8 cans in all. It also makes improvements to design and noise reduction compared to its bigger brother, so it sounds like a pretty good buy at $79 RRP!
As Greenberg notes, the new version of the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge will be available to purchase globally, although the old design will also still be available – the team is apparently continuing to make “as many as they can”.
It’s now been almost a year since the Xbox Mini Fridge first hit the market, and it’s clearly been a huge success for Microsoft – it’s quite crazy to think that it only exists because of a Twitter rivalry with Skittles!
Will you be buying one of these new Mini Fridges? Have you got one of the original designs? Tell us below.
