The third entry in the Lost Planet franchise, a series published by Capcom. The story takes place on the frozen planet EDN-III, with players able to complete a vast single-player campaign as well as a vast online multiplayer that spans multiple map packs. While Lost Planet is more of a lost series these days, the game will still be entertaining and will get a boost in its multiplayer on Xbox when it becomes free in August on Games With Gold. Many claimed the game didn’t feel like a spiritual successor to the original Banjo titles and felt more like a copycat. However, after some time and a second game which took place in 2.5D, many players grew to like the game, praising its charm, writing, and similar visual style to Banjo. While the game isn’t perfect, any players with Games with Gold looking to scratch their 3D platformer itch will be satisfied with the game, especially since Xbox players are going to receive the game for free August. Garou: Mark of the Wolves is an SNK fighting game, featuring characters from across the company’s library, like Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury. Originally released for the Neo Geo, the game is actually the nineth installment of the Fatal Fury series. The Xbox version of the game includes online multiplayer, as well as all the content from the original arcade version of the game. Garou: MotF is a one-of-a-kind SNK title and will definitely have something that all fighting game fans are looking for. Making it one of the highlights of the Xbox 360 lineup for Games with Gold.
