There’s a good news, bad news situation involving the Yakuza: Like a Dragon PS5 version. The bad news is, there are problems with the game. In particular, the free PS4 to PS5 upgrade is broken. The good news is, Ryo Ga Gotoku Studio confirmed it knows about the problems and will fix them.
It took to Twitter to offer a note letting people know what’s going on. In it, it confirmed the free Yakuza: Like a Dragon PS5 upgrade for PS4 users and DLC issues are in the midst of being addressed. It didn’t offer a timeline for a patch, though.
We’re currently aware of issues surrounding the launch of Yakuza: Like a Dragon on PS5 preventing some users from downloading the game/DLC and accessing the free upgrade from PS4. We’re investigating the issue and hoping to have this resolved as soon as possible.
