Hungry for adventure?

The mysterious Dark Matter is after a powerful crystal, and only Kirby (and you!) can save Ripple Star.

Along the way, Kirby can combine any two Copy Abilities to create a brand-new one, so get experimenting! Up to four players* can also play some lively minigames: Kirby’s 100-Yard Hop, Bumper Crop Bump, and Checkerboard Chase.

It may be a lot to swallow, but you got this!

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members can now play the Kirby 64™: The Crystal Shards game, which originally released on the Nintendo 64™ system in 2000.

The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack plan gives you a few perks: You get all the benefits of a Nintendo Switch Online membership, access to a selection of Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis games, and access to select DLC** (Animal Crossing™: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise, Mario Kart™ 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass, and Splatoon™ 2: Octo Expansion).

A music clip for you!

You may have already heard, but 2022 is the 30th anniversary of Kirby. To mark the occasion, a free, one-time orchestrated concert will be globally streamed on August 11! It will feature a large, big band-style ensemble of musicians and span a variety of musical genres. Updates will be added to https://www.kirby.jp/30th-musicfest/eng/ so be on the lookout.

In the meantime, since today is all about Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, we’re also rereleasing a portion of the Kirby 25th Anniversary Orchestra Concert. This concert was held in Japan in July of 2017. Can you guess which game this music is from? Uh…well, it’s Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. We’re not trying to be tricky!

Please enjoy.
